Never heard of one, If it had a 360 and sunroof it wouldn't have made it here.

Very nice $2k DD for the Northern climates .
Still looking for the 300 "styling custom touches" .

I think its too rare for a DD at 17 made for 1980, according to allpar. I'm not finding any info on the 300 package.

He personally added some 300 trim from another model to the C-piller. That's it. There was no factory 300 trim.

Has rare LS grille shell
Another item added from the LeBaron 5th Avenue.
It's the LeBaron 5th Avenue that's kind of rare.
It's not a 300, LE, or 5th Ave.

$2k DD for Northern climes .

Check closer on the decklid, some there too, I've emailed the owner for more info. Cordoba 300 as well?

I was wondering on the grill
Would that be Medallion LS?

So it seems to me that this fella took an 81 LS stripped the interior for the LeBaron and made his very own one of one with a Super Six??? If the LS was trashed body wise I can understand that but if he destroyed an LS to make this abortion I would be pissed..but I'd still drive it!

Too funny Graham!

Got an email back from the owner, good call Stan!
The thing that's confusing to me is in 79 there were no color choices on a 300, white and a few red one's. In 80 it changes to LS (300), not much info and very few around. Could the LS pkg have been ordered in another line of cars? 360/ 4 speed. and I'd drive it!
Owner info

The “styling” refers to my custom touches- it is a base LeBaron Coupe
I used various 300 emblems from other cars.
The grille is a very rare LeBaron LS grille which was a special limited car 2 dr coupe 1980 only and some trim from a Cordoba LS which had the same red/white/blue 300 theme, but they choose to call the cars LS for some reason not 300’s – I made up 300 emblems for the grille and wheels too.
The car is in Brooklyn NY so it is clear. Great car needs nothing at all runs and drives perfectly – I just have no room for the car anymore.

I believe this is a LeBaron Salon with the LS Limited Coupe package.

1980 Chrysler LeBaron-04-05

That he added the C-Pillar 300 chevron's from an 80 Chrysler 300 (Cordoba, same as 79), not sure where he got those window louvers.

According to Allpar:
"(The 360 four-barrel was limited to the very few (around 17) Cordobas with the 300 package, and the police.)"
"late in the year, a sporty Chrysler 300 package was added."
"A four-barrel, dual-exhaust version (E58) was available late with the Chrysler 300 package, except in California."
"A new LS package was launched; it replaced the 300 package, and provided extra style but no more performance than standard Cordobas."

I believe the second quote from Allpar is not correct, I think the 300 package was offered early in production and replaced early with the LS package.

1980 Chrysler cars: LeBaron, Newport, New Yorker, Cordoba

This is the emblem I was referring to on the decklid as compared to the missing one on the black car.

The grill is LS, looks like the seats as well. Not sure about quarter glass.
Love the 2 tone paint on the Lebaron LS

That was a very strange model to devote so much attention to trying to clone.
Weird guy. . .
