I have a 1981 Crysler Imperial, it runs and drives, the motor is a 318, I have a summit cam and lifters, I have a 340 Torker intake manifold, and a pair of machined 360 heads. The intake is aluminum, the cams lift is .454/.454, the heads have had 4000 of an inch taken of the surface. The black spots are just undercoat sprayed on developing rust spots to help preserve the car. Do not call me Monday's and Wednesday's, and do not call between 6 am to 2 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, and don't call between 10-3 Fridays, texting or emailing is preferred, I will not take checks or trades, cash ONLY. I do have all the crome for this car in the trunk

A "rusty" Imperial with a "hot rod motor" makes it more of a fancy Cordoba, in many respects, to me. Wonder if he bothered to get a lower rear axle ratio in it, to complement the cam in that size of motor? The engine stuff can be undone or worked around, but the rust spots are more of a concern. On the "hot rod motor", a 360 with self-learn FI would make a better upgrade, to me. IF you could find one of the old Direct Connection k-frames to put a B/RB in it, with appropriate chassis/rear axle/trans upgrades, a very nice sleeper/Mustang 5.0 nemesis.

Just some thoughts,
