1981 imperal
1981 Imperial. Clean running driving car. New tires, battery, radiator, water pump, alternator. Interior in good condition and paint is good. 318 engine and electronic trans have been replaced with a 360 and 727 trans. Engine and trans have less than 40000 miles.
81 was the first year of electronic fuel injection and electronic trans and they were not reliable. When the 318 went bad, the previous owner repaced both with more reliable power. The engine and trans were in a 79 Imperial. This is not a perfect car. It is 37 years old with 130000 miles. NO RUST. It does need the heater core replaced. It spent its entire life in phoenix. Very well maintained by former owner and myself. Fun to drive for someone that just wants an older car for a driver. The price is $2750.00, well below book on a number of sites.
