This car was built to be fast and stylish. The D-body Cadillacs are based on the same chassis as the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS, Chevy Caprice, and Buick Roadmaster with only a longer wheelbase separating them. Coincidentally, all of the speed parts built for the Impala fit the Cadillac.

It has a nice interior and is daily driver ready. It just received new brakes, new wheel bearings, new belts, new hoses, new starter, new battery cables, new shocks, and new wheels and tires.

To finish the car and make it "perfect" it needs someones love and attention to adapt or fabricate a center console. The factory 60/40 bench has already been tucked into buckets for the conversion.

I confess that I would .. and have done similar things. We did put a 514 stroker/racing C6/9" with 4.11 and Gear Vendor OD in a 1976 Lincoln Mark IV.

In a fit of "euphoria" and "ego" mixed together 15 years ago, I sold it a guy who flagged me down at a stoplight who paid cash for it 2 hours later. one of the ones I wish I still had

Never could get it to "handle" right.. wanted to wallow around in corners .. but it was a beastly brute in a straight line. Triple black, with landau roof, I nicknamed "Mark Vader" :)

anyway, i for one like what they did with this old RWD "D" platform. Seems like it'd be hoot to drive and I like how it looks.

It needs a big wing on the back. I would have kept the stock wheels so it was a real sleeper. Maybe get wider stock wheels on the back to hook it up.

I don't know if I'd gone with a stick, but I like the car! If you're going to do mods, do this!

Not this:
