For test reasons, I restored those 2 nice pieces. They got hot tanked, soaked in Evapo-Rust, primed and painted in semi-gloss black. No rust pitting or dents - very good condition.

I do not know if they are off an A, B, or C body, I bought them together with other AC components, but can't use them for my application. The part shown on picture #4 is not for sale - just a reference.

Location: Dayton/Ohio
Price: $30 each + shipping
Payment: Cash or Paypal

Very nice. If you haven't already, check the flanges for absolute flatness (with a quality steel rule) before you sell them. Over the years, those get "gorilla tightened" against an o-ring and can be bowed in.

I recently spent many hours with a very fine file making mine dead-flat....after losing charges no matter what seal I used: embossed steel, green gasket, o-ring....they all had a slow leak on the high pressure side once the compressor kicked in, but DIDN'T show a leak during vacuum.

Thank you for the advice. I will consider this information and forward it to every possible buyer. On the other hand side, I am just asking $30 for each, and those parts are 50 years old. I spent already a lot of time on them, so the buyer will have to do a final inspection anyway. NOS mufflers are sold for around $150 - $250.

Thanks,

Wolfgang
