Chrysler: 300 Series COUPE HURST EDITION & 300 COUPE PARTS CAR

Subframe has rust holes...
Seems repairable but definitely what i would keep myself from, when it deals with monocoque body.

That ad is honest about it needing a full restoration. Looks like a Complete mess. Driven hard with no care until it couldn't go any further.

Special road wheels? Something special about the domes and center caps on the 300H?

Parts car is a '71. I imagine the original intent was to do a re-body using the '71. For something that was "in indoor" storage for 25 years, that stub toast. No underside pics of the parts car, no telling what you are getting from the ad.

On a positive note the hood and deck lid look good and aren't buckled like most of them.

Underbody wise this car is comparable to my GT, actually it probably needs less rust work. The extra work is in the sheet metal on the outside, bottoms of the quarters and around the rear window, etc. The floors are good so that's a plus. The green car would be a good donor for sheet metal by the looks of it. I am surprised to see a 9 1/4in rear end in her. I had ideas they were 8 3/4 rear ends.
