Well today I activated the insurance on my Droptop today and I looked at the last time I had insurance on it, it has been 35 + years ago so I think I am heading in the right direction (LOL !!!) I will try and post some pictures as I take the car out of the garage next week to go the shop.

I don't know if I've ever had insurance in my Dart in the 20 years I've owned it, I'll have to make a call to my insurance guy.

ok here it is!

She is a gem. You definitely to get her out and start enjoying her again. We ain't getting any younger and time's a-wastin'!

Awesome. Always had a soft spot for 68 Polaras/Monacos, I used to have a red 68 Polara convertible.

Wow! I'm quite impressed with the long time ownership of these cars.

If I wasn't in Army for 20 years from 1976-1996 I would still have my 69 Super Bee and 73 Ralleye 340 Challenger. Kind of hard to hang onto any cars being deployed more than 15 out of 20 years.

Now that you took the first step are you going to get the mechanicals gone through and drive it? Looks like it could be a nice driver.

Yes that is the plan but have to do it in stages(not the correct order(in my opinion)but eventually everything will get done

Well hard work and lots of patience is about to start paying off as tomorrow morning my big girl finally comes out of the garage(first time in 35+ years) and heads to the shop to get all her mechanical work(bought all the parts today) done then off to the upholstery shop. wont make it to the paint shop this year but will be going early next year as I found a painter that I finally feel comfortable with and the agreed upon price is also good too. Will try and post pic's over the weekend if I can get my daughter long enough.
