I was there the first time in 1977.

And believe me......Polizei would definitely stop and ticket you if you didn't have a seat belt on.

They still do. Safety is a big issue over here, either safety belt, alcohol or using your smartphone.

Environmental spills too....even back then.

They would be very upset when we had cherry juice leaking out of my M110A2 8 inch Howizters. You could never stop the leaks 100% in the hydraulics and recoil systems. The vibration and concussions from these big monsters operating was like trying to play wack a mole.
