440 ac bracket/ alternator help

Looking for options on being able too hook up the alternator. Looking at a 383 i have the alternator uses the same belt as the ac but for the ac bolts on with 2 intake bolts so i know the bracket i have wont span the 440 intake. What are my other options? I am in process of searching ebay for the same bracket but for the 440.

If the span is slightly wider, then bolt it to one side, which ever keeps the AC pullies in alignment, and make a spacer to go behind the other side of the bracket?
