Dec 6, 1967 my Chrysler 300 convertible came off the assembly line. To celebrate, took the ride for a new pair of shoes(tires). Replaced the 14 year old Coker bias ply( 4 1/2 inch white walls) with Cooper Trendsetter radials with closer to correct white walls. 235 75R.15. Wanted to change to Magnum 500 wheels too, but got other fish to fry this month, so it will have to wait till spring. These are the before and after photos.

Those wide whites are cool on some cars, but a little too much...

For my liking on most... I'm glad you changed them out. She looks GREAT now!

You'd think I would have seen this car at some point cruising the streets of Jersey . Happy Birthday slabie

Gorgeous with those thinner whites. That's one clean machine!

Love the new look. I guess you could say I did the same for my 50 year old Plymouth Fury. It turned 50 October 24th and earlier this year I replaced the rusting chrome wheels with similar tires to yours and the Magnum 500 wheels. Love the look and I think you will too.

Btw, I put a set of those same tires on my Royal Monaco last year and I have been quite pleased. I'd rather keep people in Ohio employed than Korea.

As a bonus your sidewalls won't say "kum-ho".

When I worked in a tire shop we used to steer people away from those tires with that very argument... "you really want KUM-HO written on your car?"

The wide white walls would go great with that amazing technicolor dreamboat Kramer has on. I thought it made the car look too "pimp my ride"/Ghetto. Not me or what this car deserves.

Your car really looks great! And I wish the coopers had 14" whitewall but know such luck,so I guess I'll have to live with my kumho that I like except the sidewall and place of manufacturing.
