Looking for information on a 56 d500 pursuit as in production numbers and how to decode the data plate

For the basic data plate format, might look in the front of the '56 Chrysler Corp parts book. One place to find them is www.jholst.net.com or www.mymopar.com . Would be in the "INFO" section of the front section of the book, I believe, if it's like the 1960s cars.
Is this a documented "pursuit" vehicle? With the OEM D-500 motor in it? Just curious.
Not sure about where to find production numbers and such.

Not sure how to document, that's why the request for information,. Yes it is all original with the 325 hemi, it has the spotlight in the A piller and police on the firewall in yellow, the owner also said they painted it after purchasing
@saforwardlook and the forward look folks might have some additional suggestions and/or pointers.
Never heard of such a vehicle, but had to see what one looked like

Thanks for the information on the car.
In the prior version of www.Allpar.com (which might still be in the revised/current version), there was an extensive coverage of the "Mopar Squads" of the 1950s. How good they were in the CHP tests and such, compared to the other brands. How the Dodge "police brakes" with their metallic brake linings passed the brake tests with flying colors, so much so that the drivers re-ran the tests a second time, back to back, and they just kept on stopping as good as in the first test session. Which is amusing as Buick claimed they had "the best brakes in the business" with their larger-diamter brake drums. Never did see Broderick Crawford get into any serious braking in his '55 Buick Century in "Highway Patrol", back then.
Quite an interesting read, back then, as now, if those stories are still on that website.
There MIGHT be some documentation in the Police Car Owner's Association, but not sure.

I looked at this car a couple years ago. Owner claimed it was a Washington State Patrol car but I couldn't verify so I passed.
