Figured I’d start another build thread in a car I just picked up about two weeks ago. Some of you might recognize this car from an online auction in Custer South Dakota. The car I really wanted (58 Plymouth savoy 2dr hardtop) went way out of what I wanted to spend. But this 59 desoto seemed like a decent buy. Pictures tell the story better tha I can. I ended up selling my white 4dr parts car just the other day after I grabbed what few parts I needed for the blue car. White car was a factory ac car too!

I always liked that style of DeSoto. Good find!

Nice! I got a 61 Belvedere from that auction.
Did your tow vehicle make it up the steep hill OK? My 3500 dodge had a hard time getting up the snow covered steep hill.

Nice score! Here's my Firedome Coupe with the Firedome 4dht I bought as a parts car. Really didn't need anything from the parts car, so I'm selling it complete with the 383 and cast iron Torqueflite
