Actually Stan, at first glance, it looks like a pretty correct car. The exhaust tips kill me though. Turn down before the bumper folks!

I did not read the description, only briefly looked over the pics. After reading what you posted, that explains the low selling price. I would have expected an L Convertible to fetch $35-$40K.

just seem crazy that you would not put the freeze plug in and put coolant in it....unless you KNOW something is cracked and leaking. I had a freind that let his z28 freeze up and it popeed the freeze plugs out. I just put another set in and put coolant in it and was shocked there was no damage, he drove it for years after that.

I too have to wonder why they detailed the engine, but it has no freeze plugs, or coolant in it....

Friend of mine had a Mustang with a six cyl car froze solid, water pump would not turn, open cap solid like a ice cube in radiator. Took the belt off w.p. started the carwarm til pump spun did not damage a thing.

He was very fortunate.... Many years ago I didn't put antifreeze in my radiator, I was driving down the road to leave. I made it out about 4 miles my temp gauge pegged. I turned around drove home drained the water out... apparently it formed ice in the engine, once it got hot it thawed out. I immediately went and bought antifreeze. Never again will I do that.
