1965 Chrysler 300L for sale, 2d owner since 1967. 79,000 miles, dark green with beige vinyl interior, fender skirts, AM radio, power seat and windows, 413CID engine, 8 cyl, 3 speed torque flite transmission, 2 door hardtop, only 2405 made, always kept in heated garage, brakes, hoses and other items recently replaced, gas tank relined, runs good, asking $12,000.

I'd even like to own that

Come on Stan it has a medallion on the console and look at that vintage cb, I like this car

Now the interior color makes more sense I thought the exterior was black. I like it. I think the seller is a good guy family owned, listing it in Detroit. I would definitely go check it out if it was near home, I love that big L on the console lid that's why he is asking $12.

Nice...I would like it for about half that price.

I'd like it without the 68 Dodge/ Plymouth side marker lights (decent execution...but still wrong).

Good eye...do you think it was an insurance sort of thing? I remember when guys would retro-fit brake lights into their parcel shelves when the new cars came out with them.

makes me wonder what my L 4 speed will be worth if I ever get it put together. I have 3. the only one I would dare to ask that much for is the 4 speed.
I love em too, but todays market............!!!!!

You have 3 L? We would love pictures I don't care what shape they are in. I hope the 4 speed is some where out of the weather in a nice dry garage.

Yeah, the 4 speed is in my garage. Only problem is, we took it apart to do complete restoration and there it sits!!!
I have all the correct and original parts including an L HP 413 and correct 4 65 trunnion 4 speed.
Only thing I am missing is an original tach. Talk about rare and expensive! I am not paying upwards of $500 for a tach!!!
It's not rusted anywhere except a little around roof base/back window.
I have 2 others, 1 is everyday commutor for my son, 3rd is parts car for the 4 speed. I have parts from another 300 L and a 300 Sport. Got the parts, just not the desire yet to get off my butt and start restoring.
I have 3 other Cbody 4 speeds, 2 of which run, 65 Sport Fury 4 speed, 2 67 Sports Fury 4 speeds, 1 a convert, and, of course, the L. I have owned 2 other Cbody 4 speeds, 1 a 66 Polara 500 convert 4 speed that I bought from original owner. Wife problems, let it get crushed!!!!!!!!!!
the other was another 67 Sport Fury 4 speed. I think these 67 Sport Fury 4 speeds were much more common. Chrysler charged the same for 4 speed or TorquFlite that year. I have seen at least 10-12 of them.
Lost track of 1 of 12 300 L convert 4 speeds. I think police towed it off back in the day!!!! Yuck!!!
I had asked Stan if I could talk about all these. I don't make enough money to paint/fix all of them and was losing the desire to fix. I was considering thinning the herd. I mean, you can only drive 1 at a time plus insurance, etc.
Had a guy in the club give me a 64 300 K 4 speed tranny, bellhousing, etc. if I could pick it up in Ca. Rusty, only made 85 K 4 speeds. I couldn't arrange shipping in time Double yuck!!!!
