1965 Plymouth Sport Fury i will be listing it one time at this price. This mote then reasonable. They made 100 cars total with the 426 engine these are as rare is you can get and to have a 4 speed is even better.426 4 Speed car matching #'s White w Red interior M/S M/B red vinyl interior heat defrost everything works except speed and odometer. The car has very little milage since restoration. the car runs rides shifts better then it looks it is flawless in that department. This car is the ultimate sleeper it might have has 10 less horse then a 69 440 H,P but it has more compression and torque. This car will go down the Quarter mile with 14 inch tires in 14.7 or less and on real sheet tires with a little tweaking break the 13's.It is that fast for a car this size. The paint is still very nice it has a few chips and bubbles but the car will not need a complete paint job. This car is arrow straight i don't think it ever was in an accident. The interior is very nice except for cracked steering wheel and fake wood peeling. carpet headliner seats and dash are all great. The gauges including clock and tach all work. The chrome on the bumpers trim and aound the windows are all nice this is solid # 3 car with #2 traits you can say it's between a 2 and a 3 This car starts with ease doesn't leak smoke rattle . This car is very hard to find due to low production numbers. fell free to call or text me my name is Scott

Nope. I'm not sure where he gets the "100 built" from, though. I see a production number listed of 38K+ '65 Sport Furys from my two references, and that is all engines together. The 426W and 4-speed is super-rare in these, however! I wouldn't doubt his number is at least close. Like is often said - "Find another one!". I know of a black '65 Sport Fury in Colorado with the same options, and that plus this are the two I am aware of.

I've seen it. Obviously an awesome car but it's still steep for most if us. I saw a red one on CL last night out west.... Not many around with the 426.

Hmm, he says between a grade 3 to grade 2. Well that does specify a range right there of between 12.5K to 18.5K. yet he wants a grade 1 price. There is probably one or two out there that might pay that if he has the time.

I kept looking at the photos on the Craigslist ad, and was saying to myself, there's no way that's a 426 Hemi. Definitely a big block, but what threw me was the spark plug wires, how they went around the valve cover instead of through it. Then it hit me, it's a 426 wedge. Haha then I look back and notice he never said it WAS a Hemi, I just assumed it was.

I want his interior. Maybe I'll email him and see if he will part it out.

Very cool car, rare, 4-spd, 426, skirts, good colors. I like it.

In my humble opinion,.....the interior of this car, and detailing is what's hurting the "value".

Not to mention an extensive and relatively painless engine detail.

Yes, the interior has been re-done, but incorrectly,...the dash pad is horrible, the console, door panels and seat patters are too "puffy", and the vinyl grain is incorrect. Not to mention the "woodgrain" dash, which to the best of my knowledge isn't correct.

The gauge cluster needs proper attention/restoration, etc.,....

Redo the interior correctly, with correct materials. Do the dash, gauges, cluster, and detail the engine to original standards, then your in the $25K - $30K range, maybe more.

As is, I'd say $15K to $19K would be strong money.

My worthless .02 cents, Lira, Eruo, Deutschmarks, etc,....

My two centz iz that that car wouldn't be worth the asking price even if it had the dual quad rat roaster intake and the TRI-Y HEADERZ. What'z the big deal about ah bored out 413 to 426 numberz? And 4 spdz still get my left leg tired just thinkin' about grabbin' all them gearz!
