1965 Chrysler New Yorker · Sedan 4D

Give me a reason why this car should not have been a factory option?

I really like it and would honestly prefer over a two door. If I'm going to have a parade car this is what I want. I don't need a top anyway.

Pretty sure the guy has been driving it that way. Some friends chopped the roof off a dart when we were teenagers and they drove the **** out it.

I would hope that it was reinforced some way, 4dr lincolns did it. Has its own personality!

Looks professionally done, there is a shop in florida that does conversion really well. It has grown on me the more I look at it, friday night Dairy Queen with the grand kids!

Unibody construction doesn't offer the rigidity of body on chassis, even though Lincoln pulled it off. Maybe a '64-'66 Imperial would be a better choice.

I talked to a relative of the owner they said they drive it almost every weekend in the good weather and the door gaps and function are perfect. They gave me a number to talk to the guy but I have no intention of calling because I'm only curious not in the market for a convert. I do really like the car.
