65 Newport remote mirror question

Parting out this 65 Newport. Trying to get the remote mirror off the drivers door. There is no hole in the door for the remote on the end of the cable to come through? New to me. So before I screw it up I thought I'd ask for help?

You disassemble the toggle and everything pulls out with the mirror.
