Hello. My wife has a 65 sport fury convertable built in Canada. It seems pretty rare as we rarely see others but wondering if anyone knows the actual production numbers for these canada cars? . Thx.

I don't know how many or if any were actually built in Canada. However, I doubt that is the way it came from the factory. I have never seen one with rocker moldings either. Someone did a nice job on it though. Are the side moldings painted or engine turned? I've had mine since 1985 but mine is Lynch Road assembled and not as built.

Yeah it's been painted and motor rebuilt about 20 years ago. Motor matches though. Canadian cars have minimal info on the fender tag, different motors I did see one other with rockers, it was a Canadian car too but I'm unsure if it's that or just an addition from a 66 or 67. There was no info in the big brochure on them. Beautiful car btw. Love the black. Theres something about these 65's.
