Ok here is the situation. After buying a partial convertible roof seal set, I decided I wanted to go ahead and replace the front seal also. I found a seal from Rock Auto and here is the seal. It looks like a combination seal working across the front and then twisting in fitting 5-6 inches down the side.
It looks like a nice design if it works, but I'm skeptical. Anyone use this seal. The one thing that really impressed me about the convertible top is how there is no wind noise with the top up, so I expect the same with a new seal.
Now here is a complete kit from Steele Rubber and you can see the difference of the center seal. It looks just like the factory seal. I called Steele about breaking up the complete kit. They said they would look into it and get back to me (no word back yet). I already bought the 6 separate pieces a coupe of months ago and can't return them (they weren't cheap) and neither is this complete set.
