66 Fury Ebrake connector bar

Anyone have an E brake connector bar laying around to measure. On the pass side on mine, the brake will not tighten, when the cable pulls . It move correctly, but does not put force on the two shoes. I conclude that the bar is wrong, and maybe 3/16 or more short, in the center slots. When released, there is quite a gap, that just gets taken up on application. So, I have thought of welding it shorter, but wonder if I can find another on line. But, would like to confirm that measurement across the slots, that is prob about six inches. If you might have one in the shop and can measure yours, would appreciate it. thanks
