thinking about going to the Ron Hackenberger auction saturday with a couple other people and this 66 new yorker got my attention. if i go what do you think i should bid on this?

Without knowing anything about it (does it run, what engine is in it, etc.), I think you are looking at a value close to what the engine and trans is worth. A four door post sedan is not a very desirable car. Personally, I would go no higher than $800.
 
Wow, you know that is a hard one. This looks to be nicer than my 68 and I paid $1k for it. It hadn't been on the road for nearly 35 years. The questions is how bad do you want it? If your interest is just whimsical or thinking that you can make some money flipping you better buy real cheap.

I was looking at this auction months ago and I though there was a buy in to be able to get in let alone bid. I could be wrong though.
 
$50 for a bidders card + 10 percent buyers fee. i do not need it it is just something that caught my eye. maybe it was the yellow color of the car.
