Hi guys, although I've been signed up on the forum for a while, I've not been active at all, up to now. Unfortunately I jumped straight in with a 'please help me' post today (see below), but really should have come here first to introduce myself.

My car is a pale blue 66 Polara 2dr hardtop. Originally it came with a 383 2bbl and standard 727 torquefilte, though it now has a 440hp motor in it along with an uprated transmission, diff and other drive-line components. The major outstanding mechanical upgrade I need to complete is a front disc brake conversion and then I want to move onto the bodywork. It's all original paint and not bad at all, but rust is just starting to creep into some areas. I'm going to start off by painting the underneath to protect the chassis/frame from the elements and then, when funds permit, I'll look towards a full repaint.

Here's my disc brake thread, just in case anyone who reads this is interested:

How I missed this is unbelievable, but nonetheless, a very belated welcome! My Polara had the same treatment, a 383-2 that evolved into a 440-4 with upgraded trans and different rear end. I love that yours is a two tone paint combo, you don't see that often.
