I think the repop '67 and up plastic base runs around $250 brand new. It will swap right into your '66, and all the trim parts will fit.

I bought mine from Vans. All are the same manufacturer just different vendors .

The only difference is the '66 version, the back end detaches from the main body, just after the storage space.

Yes 2 piece in 66 and early 67. That is the only difference visually but physically they are made of 2 different materials. 66-early 67 are a thick fiberglass resin type and the reproduction is an abs plastic as original for late 67-70...

Thanks for all the help guys! I've got the top all ready to go when I do my interior but I found a large chip in the top of the base.
