66 Sport fury gas tank

Hey everybody, I'm back to working on my Sport Fury and need to swap out the gas tank. I've seen a couple of guys who put 68 road runner tanks in. The tank is a hair smaller but that's not as important to me as having a new rust free tank that costs $110. My question is does anybody know if I need to use my c body filler neck and tank straps or would I need to get all 68 road runner parts? Thanks in advance for any help.

Just get the one for a 67 C-body.

Others here have done it and the only difference between a 66 and a 67 apparently is the number of vent nipples on the tank.

The B-body one will be cheaper tho.

The B-body tank is just narrower so your fill tube and straps should work.
