67-68 Fury Glove Box

[68 4spd Fury]

Any thoughts on how to install a new glove box in a 68 Fury? I purchased a new reproduction and the space under the dash between the heater box is very tight. All I can come up with is pull some of the staples so it can fold smaller and reassemble with screws once it's in. Anyone else come across this? Thanks

I posted on this before. Remove the passenger side kick panel, remove the lower dash mounting bolt, and remove the lower center dash support bolt. Then very carefully pull the dash out, this will give you the room you need to remove the box and install the new one from underneath the dash.

Good tip. I ended up using a ratchet strap attached to the door jamb to hold the dash out while I worked the box up and into position. Thanks again!
