The seats on these never had white piping from the factory, did they?

I dont think the piping is white, it looks like a reflection from the sun. Look at the one picture at the back of the seat, away from the sun, they're blue. The interior does look re-done however

I'm still looking but I don't see any piping that doesn't look white.

Keep looking, I believe the white is simply from the reflection of the bright LA sun.

No way that is original, and the giveaway is that someone thought that white piping was a good idea (it wasn't).
