I called him and the second vin digit is a letter "L" so no "K" for police pkg. There are signs of a roof emergency light. I suspect this a a County ambulance. Counties were typically brown in color. He also checked and no "Certified" on the speedometer.

Agree with Stan.....6K is high but would love to see the fender tag. If it is an orig 3 spd/floor car with manual drums (which I would think was not avail, prob a column conversion, esp with that small shifter) and I was looking for a car it would be right up my alley.

Wise minds then mine mentioned this to me....

In the 60's most state official cars in WI were ordered with manuals. County & locals were autos.

Whole lotta plastic for 6 grand. It's a neat car that I'd gladly bomb around in or even Research and restore one day but that kind of money can get you a much better starting position.

That said, I want his hubcaps.

I see a battery heat shield which tells me its a police package car, or at least ordered with those options. The hole on the front fender was probably for a siren.

Least he learned How To spell Wagon.

Those Dog Dishes are about 1 Year only. Sold one to a Guy in Germany. Big Block, 3 Speed, Spotlight & a Trump Bumper sticker? That car has Characther for Days.

Was the "about one year only" on those caps 67 and/or 68? Might do some hunting over the next long while.

Would these be the 67 variant then? Damn, wish I'd seen those 68s when I owned my 68!

Those "mexican hat" dog dish caps were for the 67/68 model years I believe. They used them on all the Dodge lines, A/B/C-bodies. I have a set of those on my 68 T/C wagon, but with the the 3 crown Chrysler emblem in the middle....little tougher to find. ;)

I thought 67 and 68 were same diameter with 66 being the smaller diameter. I've owned 66's and 67's.
either 66 or 67 was the Last year For the Wheels that took the larger Dog Dishes. We need one of the Forums
