I bought this front bumper piece for a real low milage 1967 Imperial 4 door hardtop that I used to own. I never got around to using it and it was still wrapped in paper till a couple of weeks ago. I took it out to make sure it was still nice. The chrome is beautiful as you can see in the last picture where I rubbed a spot and took a mirror image of myself. I will take $100 plus freight for it. or it can be picked up in Louisville Ky. I will also be at swap meets in Columbus Oh next week and in Indy on the 3rd,4th of March.

We like to see you hit up the welcome wagon and introduce yourself before using the site to sell parts. That being said, what else do you have for '67 Imperial? I have a coupe and will be going to Indy.
Welcome to the site, you plan on hanging around from time to time? Have a C-body?

Sorry about that,I spend a lot of time on forabodiesonly.com and some on the B and E body websights so it all kind of blends together on me.I will post something up today. Thanks.

I dont have a C body right now but have had many in the past. My last of course was this 67 Imperial. At the moment I have a 1970 Swinger 340 just painted it GoMango.I also have a 1969 Dart GT convertible and a 1971 Charger SE 440 HiPo car. I have plenty of mechanical parts that will work on C bodies and I part some out on occasion so I will be cruising the sight.

What's the story on the '67 the bumper is from? Did you part it?

I actually bought that car for $600 from a buddy who purchased it from an estate, it had 67000 original miles and I drove it around for a couple of years.I decided to sell it and advertised it locally and sold it to another guy for $1500. He never transfered it out of my name and he sold it to another guy. About 4 years later I got a letter from the police tow in lot stating that they had impounded my 1976 Imperial. Since I never owned a 1976 Imperial I thought I would go see what exactly that they had. When I got there I found the 67 looking about like it did when I sold it,still showing around 70,000 miles so I ask what the bill was and they said $140 so I paid them and drug it home and went and applied for a duplicate title. Come to find out the second owner never transfered the car either so it was still in my name. He had parked it in downtown Louisville and when they cleaned the streets it was parked illegaly and they towed it in. They sent me the letter because I was the last guy who titled it. Poor guy is probably still trying to figure out what happened to his car.I stuck it in the paper and sold it for $1500 again.

Quite a story, lots of twists and turns. I would say if that car happens to fall into your lap one more time that you just need to keep it. Looks like a really nice bumper, I'll take a closer look at mine, which is newly acquired, and make sure I couldn't use it.

If it comes back around I probably wont buy it.I tend to lose money on cars when it gets to the third time. I wouldnt mind finding a 67 Imperial Convertible. I'm trying to break the habit of keeping stuff in anticipation of something coming along(hard habit to break) I've spent the last three years cleaning out a 250,000 sqare foot building that was full of stuff that we "might need" someday. Lucky for me scrap was high.

I'm headed for Columbus.Stop by the booth and talk. I'm sure I'll be the only guy there selling honey along with my parts.
