Spotted this car while out driving the other day. Did a quick craigslist search, and didn't see the car as being advertised on there, so figured it might be worth while sharing on here if it's not really getting much exposure. No price or other info posted posted, just a for sale sign.

Located at John's Tire and Brake Service in Aliquippa PA, call them if interested: (724) 375-3811

I used to see that car parked there on my way into Shasta steel in the old J&L works (industrial park now)

Nice looking car especially the color & wheels. I miss seeing stuff like that since I am not on the road in a delivery truck anymore. I used to run through Aliquippa all the time. In fact I bought a 72 Fury Gran Coupe from an older gentleman there that I spotted while on the job.

Aliquippa has it's fair share of Mopars, that's for sure. Literally not more than two blocks away from this Newport in another businesses lot, sits a 68 Charger (not in nearly as good of shape), but it's neat to see two old Mopars in such close proximity.

That would be a cool parts hauler.....for the right price.

Can you get a picture of that?

There was a 69 or 70 charger R/T further up the hill at the stop sign on opposite side of the road probably 6 or so years ago that was collapsing in on itself then it was gone when scrap was sky high.

I hope they saved the VIN and Fender tag.:poke:

When you say "up the hill", do you mean further up Kennedy Blvd (towards the intersection of Brodhead and Mill Street, like you're heading back to the highway), or up the hill of Monaca road (bottom of Kennedy, straight up, instead of bearing right onto Franklin)?

I recall a bare bones shell of a 69/70 R/T on Franklin Ave, it was missing the entire front clip, doors, rear end, etc... Is that the same car perhaps?

Yep that's it it was gray or maybe a really faded black with black bumble bee stripe. Yes it was very stripped.
