Salt corrosion doesn't even take that long. We do a 20 year corrosion test in 221 days. Some "test items" don't even make it to the 10 year test mark.

The car reportedly broke down in 1973 in the beach area and was left there. Guess they cleaned the bumper and some of the vinyl up before shooting.

Western snow is a lot different the NJ snow...... It really is dry.
I lived in Colorado for several years and could sky to town in the powder and never get wet.
