If I had $1000 to burn I'd save this poor car...

1967 Dodge Polara, 360 small block V-8 with Edelbrock intake, Holly carb, and Chrome. Auto. Needs trans. Trans is currently out of car. Engine runs good. The engine came out of a '77 Volare RR. I was told it was rebuilt, but I don't know what was done to it as the guy I bought the car from didn't know either(I had bought the RR, and pulled the engine as the RR was hit real hard) The body is very solid with a little rust, and a few dents. The drivers side fender is banged up bad. I have a decent fender from a '68 Polara. Floors are solid. Trunk floor has some rust, but it holds two spares, jack, and everything for the shows. Frame rails are solid, glass has no cracks, but the windshield is starting to cloud around the edges. The seats are ripped, and it needs a carpet. The interior panels are pretty good, and the roof liner has no rips. The trans went this past summer. The car is still registered, and insured. This is a very solid project. The price is as it sits now. I am planning on installing a used, or a new trans in the near future, and changing the fender. The color is plum crazy via krylon. Obviously its not perfect, but better than when I got it. This car was sitting outside in a junk yard since '94 until I bought it 2 years ago. All the brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, gaskets, tie rod end, rear shocks, fuel pump, alternator, water pump, and distributor was replaced within those 2 years. The distributor is a points unit with a Pertronix electronc point conversion. Any questions feel free to ask. $2000 or B/O may trade for another classic car, or truck from the early '70s, and earlier.

Probably get it for $1500... maybe less.

A little rough around the edges, but it looks solid and worth doing something with.

Don't bash him too badly.
He saved the car in the first place.
And didn't make it worse.

I'm sure he would take a $1000 cash money for it.
