The next project I have is the driver side power vent window. It works but needs a little persuasion to open and doesn’t close all the way by just a hair. Just enough to get the irritating whistling noise driving at highway speeds. I would like to take it out and inspect, clean, and re grease.

I looked in the manual and it looks pretty straight forward....

There are access holes for the three mounting bolts and one also for the post to the vent window. No holes to drill.... sweet.

From underneath in the mirror photo it looks like there is plenty of room to get out from the glass channel.

Seem to be a straight forward deal BUT I never done it before. Anything else to know in advance or tips before attempting this. Thanks!

Wear a long sleeved shirt! Every time I work inside a car door without a long sleeved shirt, I get cut and scratched like I got in a fight with a house cat! Be patient as it's tight in there.
