Not mine and about 5 hours north of me. Hard to be sure but looks nice. Claimed mileage needs to be checked for sure.

Some rust nicely contrasting to the White exterior I'd say, wrapped steering wheel also a bit unusual for low mileage.

That is where we differ. I would not find that unusual. Had that been my car, then the wheel would have been wrapped on day 2. I just prefer a slightly thicker wheel for comfort.

Possible. After all this was a popular aftermarket item in These days, the Pessimist I am suspects a cracked steering wheel underneath. ;)

Actually the previous post hit it on the head. The first thing I did when I got my Cougar from my Dad was to put on a steering wheel wrap. Nothing wrong with the wood trim around the wheel but just preferred more thickness over the thinner wheel. The darn thing is still there 46 years later. My Mustang has had it's wrap since I got it in 1984. I like a thicker solid grip with no chance of slip.

Whats hiding in lower door jam??? for me the odometer digits don't line up,usually a sign its been around. I have the same car and my wheel is wrapped, same one 30 plus years
