1968 Chrysler imperial with 440 cid

I can never look at '68 Imps without wishing they had the '67's grille...

I like the leather, but also know how poorly it can "wear" if not taken care of and how expensive it might be to correct. Cloth? Not as upscale, but probably better in the long run, doesn't hold heat in hot weather (with vinyl being the worst, leather a little better, by observation) and is better in other ways. With the metallic/pearl trim codes that Chrysler had back then, some of the cloths can really look nice.

Looks like a nice car.

68 is more refined than the 67s :poke:

Sheet metal "deformation", it appears. Back in the '80s, the WPC Club magazine had an in-depth article on the '67-'68 Imperials. One thing mentioned was a "shortage" of body repair parts and trim pieces, back then. Might need to network with the Online Imperial Club www.imperialclub.com for information?
