Only if you'd find joy in it.

He doesnt say no test drives.... A joyride and a test drive are two different things

"I have an all original 1968 Chrysler Newport Custom in beautiful shape. 90,xxx miles It has the original 383 Big Block in it with a 727 trans. It runs great. $14,000 or will trade for a clean newer low mile Chevy or GMC 4x4 Tahoe Suburban or ext cab truck or a low mile Harley Davidson big twin. No sportsters! There will be no joyrides. Try any goofy **** and you may not live to tell about it! Thanks for looking!"

As his attitude seems to get somewhat belligerent towards the end (goofy **** and then you not living to tell about it, yada yada) I'd bet he's referring to innocent test drives as......."joy rides". To him they may be an annoyance, but to the seriously interested they are a reasonably reliable method to gauge whether or not they are going to slap down any greenbacks on the hood and seal the deal.

I see so many of these ads saying No Joyrides, No scammers, No spammers, only serious offers considered, yadda yadda, yadda..... anyone that puts that in their ad is an idiot believing that because he's posted that in the ad then its all gonna stop.

Someone shows up that is serious about the car, he'll toss that guy the keys. You can tell, who is FOS and who is not

Anybody willing to trade a 68' Chrysler Newport coup such as the one in this ad for a.....Chevy.......well, individually speaking it does not bode well in my book.

Isn't there an almost identical car, only it's a Monaco, for sale for about the same money as this one....
