968 Chrysler Newport. PRICE REDUCED!

Pros:
IT RUNS!
Has a chevy 350 so its easy to get parts for.
Great project car
No rust that I have found
And it's a rare car for cheap

Cons:
Needs interior work.
needs exaust work.
CANT be driven because of broken windshield and needs new tires.
bracket for the rod tensioner broke so the hood can't be put on until that is fixed.

PICK UP ONLY, WILL NEED TRAILER.

PRICE: make me an offer.

Even more fun especially for Commando...hehehe

I'm thinking the hood is off because he can't get it closed with the height of that "motor". I'm sure when Stan settles down he will have a comment or two.

We may have to resuscitate him.........

I hate to see projects get started and go that deep and stop to be sold.

No, I just dont understand the mentality of taking a car to that degree then saying o.k. I'm gonna try and sell it. It makes no sense. Of course he'll wonder why no one wants it

I think people reach a point where they realize that they have no prayer of finishing. The smart ones then sell & the rest let them rot while holding on to the dream.

I can understand a honest project. However when you take a car and change everything and halfway through you decide its not what you want what makes you think anyone else would want it.

Or

The guy that does a car that is so outrageous then says its done I'm moving on, then wonders why it aint selling.

I don't know about whether he can sell it or not but the project seems to have hit the wall.

I think this is what happens when the younger crowd buys C bodies which will actually drive ours up, in a perverse way, simply because the ones they bought they destroyed.

I'll be honest..........strip the usuable parts and crush it! It'll never be the same!

Anything can be saved......I wonder how bad it's butchered to get the motor mounts to work. Plus he probably has a TH350 txsm in it too.

Beaumont Texas... is right on the Gulf of Mexico, so I wouldn't trust his "noticing" rust either. Maybe if he took some decent pictures of the body, instead of 5 pictures of the POS engine, someone may have wanted it for a parts car.

If someone comes across a really solid/rust free '68 Chrysler 2dr body, that was not a nice car otherwise, I would be interested.

If it was a Newport or New Yorker, the front could be smashed or missing also, and actually I don't need doors either.
