68 Plymouth Fury III with a 318 ci / TF 727 Trans, 2 door hardtop, all original matching #’ w/ drum brakes. Original 88,000 miles. Registered until this year. Interior is MINT! Dashbard has no cracks. Makes for an excellent project car or parts car. Original 318 motor removed in 2022/23 for a refresh. Have video of running prior. It’s a 54-year-old car and will need new brakes and fuel lines. Typical rust along rear quarter edges and trunk pans.

Also can package or sell separately - a restored C-Body stub frame with 69-72 C-Body calipers, new bushings, ball joints, shocks, sway bar. Good for a 318 or 383. (Frame ready to be installed onto car). I have a replacement Bendix power booster for Chrysler C-Body disk brakes, trunk pan from another Fury for patches as well. American Racing wheels (15”x and 15”x8) with Cobra tires.

Unfortunately, I have 30 days to sell this. Complete package or in parts. $3,000 + OBO. If it is online, it is still available. I am restricted to 10 pics here. More Pics available. PM if interested. Thank you.

Update…

I truly hope that someone on FCBO takes the car as I am holding out from many on FB and CL who will strip the car and sell for parts or scrap.

Based on several inquiries from FCBO and FB, here is an update with some clarifications.

This is a numbers match car that should be saved. It has a 318ci that was removed a year ago. Not a 383 or 440 (I know, it’s in the title too).

Motor was running beforehand and still turns like butter. I know cliche but true. I removed it as the car sat 20 years prior to my receipt and I did awaken it the proper multiple step process as recommended by many FCBO members. The gaskets were dried out and leaked. I had aspirations of doing a refresh or creating a stroker to avoid a complete swap of the transmission.

Today with motor out and stub frame ready to go in, it’s currently a roller. Pics attached. Yes, I have two sets of keys.

Working front to back, it will need new brake lines and fuel system. It will need a small patch on the rear frame. Right fender, Quarters and truck pans can use patching in typical areas. I have rear tail panel section (connects rails) as well from another fury as well. I was going to replace rear springs as well. Existing is flat.

Interior is mint as stated on initial posting.

The restored stub frame comes with new suspension, restored single bore KH calipers with the 11.75 disk rotors. In addition to the stock 14” wheels, it comes with 15” American racing wheels with Hoosier front tires and Cooper rears.

Additional replacement parts include a NOS 67 fender for patching, side trim for a fender, trunk pan from another fury, filler tube for future new tank.

I would like to sell as a complete package. Stub frame is ready for swap so if that is the deal breaker let me know and we can work something out.

In the meantime, I am looking at options to find another garage to keep and continue the project but seemingly unlikely. Again, rather it go to a member who can continue with saving the car for future drives. They are truly one of a kind.

Photos of quarter and fender patch needed. All of which is doable.

Wheel cover removed on rear tire as someone asked what spacing was back there. As you know, lugs are 5 bolt pattern at 4.5” spacing.
