I just found a 68 town and country wagon for sale in austin tx craigs list. Under 68 town and country. interesting car. FYI

I saw that on Station Wagon Forum. I'm trying to find someone to local to take a look at it. Anyone here close to Austin?

The problem I have is the no wood grain. I've never seen a 68 without wood grain so I'm thinking this one has had the holes filled and the trim gone. If so it's pretty much worthless to me.

I had never seen that either until a local guy was parting out a 68 T/C wagon. He advertised it here on the board as well. It was a factory 68 T/C wagon with no side trim. In fact in had 67 wheel opening moldings, and lower rocker moldings. I checked inside the doors and fender and the car was never drilled for moldings.

I got a mostly intact build sheet with the power split bench seat I bought and it I could not find any "side trim Delete" code on it.

I was looking at the pics, and I think the moldings are there. They look to be cleaned up and polished maybe? And then with them being chrome/silver...and with the silver paint...they seem to disappear in the pics. At least that's what I'm seeing.

I think I see what you're saying Brian. I wish I could find someone to lay eyeballs on it for me. Also wish there was a phone number. Guess I'll try contacting him through the ad.

Nope, you could get a 383/2bbl, 383/4bbl and then the 440/4bbl.

And just a little tidbit of trivia...the 6 passenger wagon is rarer then the 9 passenger. ;)
