69 300 convertible

What a beauty..... Is that the car that turned up recently in California...? I got all excited when I saw it. Love the colors. I got my 69 300 convertible last November and started right in on it. It looked about the same condition as yours does now. It's in the paint shop and I hope to be able to start reassembling it in 2-3 weeks. Car has been stripped and everythin cleaned, refinished, replated, reupholstered, replaced as needed,
buffed, polished..... Well.... more then I had intended to do. I'll post pictures once the reassembly starts.

Welcome to the site, Good luck with your project and keep us up to date. There is a lot of good knowledge here, (plus a few wise a**'s to keep things lite), I've received a bunch of help and support and learned a few things along the line.

Yes Will, car came from C.L. in Redding,Ca. Story goes, driven until 1979, then dry storage until recently. I think it sat outside for awhile before storage, as evidenced by the eviscerated top and front seats. Polara71, car is Q4 Bahama Blue Metallic and will stay that way.Never been a big blue fan, but this color,if done right with a gloss additive can look awesome.Just degreased engine yesterday and what do you know, the valve covers match the exterior! Great to meet all of you, I am sure I will have some questions along the way.

Nice car, congrats! Love the color combo!
