Runs were made in 2nd Gear (1.45:1) from 2000rpm-5500rpm to avoid any down shifts. Not sure if 2nd gear skews the numbers up or down?
I made several runs while tuning the carb, changing rods, etc.. HP & TQ only fluctuated about 5 points between Rich & Lean.
I also modified the Air Cleaner and opened it up around its circumference. Little to no difference with it removed.
Edelbrock AVS 2 (800cfm), TTI Headers – 305hp@4900rpm/375tq@3800rpm
So, at the end of the day a gain of approximately 30hp/tq.
