Rare 1969 Chrysler Newport Emerges After 40 Years, Is It Worth Saving?
The Chrysler Newport, introduced in 1940, evolved from a luxury phaeton to an entry-level model by 1961, replacing the DeSoto brand.
It enjoyed success through five generations until 1981, offering various body styles until the late '60s and early '70s. The 1969 Newport convertible is particularly rare, with only 2,169 produced. Recently, a 1969 model was rescued from a barn after 40 years, though it requires significant restoration. Despite its condition, this rare convertible's revival holds promise.

Looks to be in great shape on the top side.
Wonder what the bottom looks like.
Also wonder if we will ever see a broadcast sheet or a trim tag readout on this car.

This video is painful to watch them loading the car on the trailer, but...
