Damn this car has sweated inside a LOT. Check the gauges in the speedometer when you enlarge the pics. The backgrounds of them are rusty too.

I am putting this ad up on behalf of my Aunt. She is selling her late husband's 1969 Plymouth Fury III. It has been stored for the last 3 years but recently got it back up and running. The body color is Blue exterior and Blue interior with a white soft top. Overall, the vehicle is in good condition with some things that will require some attention and TLC but for the average mechanic, should not be a problem. This would be an awesome vehicle for someone who wants to restore and show or just cruise it around like in the old days. With the aftermarket exhaust, its sure to catch your attention.
Vehicle details:
-1969 Plymouth Fury III Convertible
-383 C.I. v8 came factory with the 2 bbl carb but has since been upgraded to a Demon 4 bbl with Edelbrock Performer intake manifold.
-Hooker Super competition long tube headers and aftermarket exhaust has been added. Original exhaust manifold will be included with the sale.
-Believe the vehicle has a posi- trac unit in the rear axle. Cannot confirm but that is what she remembers.
-Convertible top is in good condition. No rips or tears. Top was replaced back in 2006. Have receipts for replacement. Missing a single chrome trim strip that goes along the top above the rear window. Automatic top HAS NOT been tested. Do not want to risk damage to hydraulic seals in the actuator until hydraulic fluid has been replaced/ flushed.
-All factory wheel covers are included and in good shape.
-Body is straight without any major dents or dings. Chrome bumpers are in good shape with only a few spots showing wrinkles/ rust.
-All window glass is original and has no cracks or chips and is in excellent condition including the rear glass (replaced with new top in '06) built into the soft top. Windshield may or may not be original, not sure. Buy regardless it is excellent condition as well.
-Interior is in fair condition. The seats look great for their age and are original. No rips or tears in the vinyl. Carpet is in fair condition showing normal wear. Dash panel is cracked (very common) and the instrument panel bezels are losing some of their chrome shine.
-Vehicle has been started and will run/ idle. Transmission engages in both forward and reverse but since the vehicle has been sitting for so long, the brakes are seized. Because of the brakes, i cannot say how well the transmission shifts but do not believe there will be many issues with the transmission.
-Vehicle has 4 wheel drum brakes so suggest rebuilding all drums with new hardware and wheel cylinders. Suggest bleeding brake fluid from the master cylinder as well.
-I have a list of the RPO codes that i am looking up to show what the vehicle came with from the factory when it was built. Will update the ad when i have the list compiled.
We are selling the vehicle "as is". No warranties or guarantees implied or expressed. Interested buyers only. No low ball offers will be accepted. No trades.
