Could I expect a set of 1969 Fury 2 door hardtop interior door panels (both front and rear) to fit into a 1971 Fury 2 door hardtop? Just wondering if anyone has done this before, if the panels physically are the same size and if all the holes will be in the same spots for the clips to pop in properly.

Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob!! How have you been?

Hi Jason...All is well thanks. Good to see your post :) I'm asking this question because someone is interested in fitting these 69 Fury door panels I have into his 71 Fury. I thought for sure that 69, 70 and 71 Fury doors were interchangeable but now I'm doubting myself.

Stan...thanks for posting these photos. I see the lack of vent windows would be an issue...my 69 panels do not have holes for the vent window cranks because it was an A/C car so that's not an issue but I do see a difference in physical shape of the panels from the photos you posted...looks like different shaped wedge cutout on front top of door. Not sure why that is...especially if my thinking is correct in the 69-71 doors being interchangeable. I don't know now....but thanks for posting the photos Stan. I appreciate you taking the time to do that!

Perhaps some one can chime in here that has tried doing this? We'll see. There's always the possibility there's subtle changes elsewhere...in the rear panels/placement of armrests or whatever that could kill the attempt to do this. May not ever know without the cars being side by side and physically trying to swap panels.

Thanks all...Bob
