For Sale 69 Fury III Sport?

I talked to the owner today and he says he has a car for sale that is a 69 Fury III Sport...it has Fury III emblems on the fender and Sport emblems up front some where...Has a console floor shift. Has anyone ever heard of this? As far as I knew in 69 it was either a Sport Fury or a Fury III and a Fury III didn't come with a console floor shift...only the Sport Furys had them. Photos are coming ...I'll share them when I get them but this one has me scratching my head...unless of course someone has installed a console in a Fury III and put some kind of "Sport" emblems on it.

Hi Stan...That's what I told the 81 year old gentleman when I talked to him but he didn't believe me even though he said he's more of a "Chevy guy" I can't wait to see the photos he said his wife would send me. The first attempt wound up being photos of a 1960 Fairlane. He called me back and said "did you get the photos?" I said "I did, but I wasn't looking to buy a 60 Ford Fairlane!" He said she must have got mixed up and the photos of the Fury III Sport would be sent soon. Nothing yet though...

I'm pretty sure a Fury III could be ordered with bucket seats and a console. The code "C55" should appear on the data tag if bucket seats were installed. "C16" if it has a console.

Thanks bluefury...I'll look for that on the data tag...if I can get a photo of it. Trying to get photos of these cars for sale is like pulling teeth. Why aren't people prepared when they put their cars on Craigslist? Drives me nuts!

White with a green top and green interior? I guess I should have asked him what color interior...I just took for granted it would be black I guess...looks like a nice clean car though. Where he got Fury III Sport from...I have no idea...I would think it's clearly a Sport Fury even to a Chevy guy.

Sure looks like a nice car...but I'm not sure why he didn't go around the whole car with photos...the driver side could be damaged for all I know. If it had a black interior I probably would be all over it. Can't get excited about green.

concur. I'm not bothered by the green interior

The only thing I'm not a fan of is the light green or lime green pin stripe

I think that this is the first 1969 Sport Fury that I have ever seen with a green interior . :icon_study:
