Trunk floor and wheel tubs are heavily patched...quarters and trunk extensions are probably poorly done as well.

Why is it the 69 dashes always crack in the same place? Mine has one of the two cracks. The one furthest away in the pic. Is there anything that can be done to stop the progression once it starts? Pretty car though in spite of its observed problems.

Not just the 69 dash pads but the 69 to 73 pads were all heavily susceptible to cracking at the speaker
