69 Polara, removing front chrome on front fender

Mine is the "spring special" with the chrome going around the front edge of the fenders and hood. How do you get the fender extension pieces off? I can't seem to find a way to get to the back of them

Hmm once you take the grille out you can reach behind the front corner?

You probably need an extension, 1/4 drive will probably be good enough with a deep socket. A nut driver may even work.

I just checked and I could reach the nuts with my hand with the grill in reaching in between the grill and the core support.
