Nice B Body... *WhereTF is the poke icon?!?*

I am almost sure I looked at that car 10-12 years ago.
If it is, it came out of Lexington, Mass.

Why is it that 2 door Polaras and Monacos between 1969 - 73 almost never come up for sale anymore (white 70 Monaco posted yesterday excepted!)? I see Chryslers and Plymouths all the time, though.

We considered it several years ago for dad but it just wasn't doing it for him, nice car though....

I looked at this car when it was for sale in Lexington, Mass. in September of 2012. I walked away from it without any remorse whatsoever. It was a rust bucket...lower rear quarters had been covered from front to back with cheap tin. The tin was hanging a good inch lower than it should have been and was beginning to flap/come off. The trunk pan was heavily rusted and possibly needed replacement. Can't remember now if it could be saved or not. The interior was shot. All the chrome and bright work was very tired. A cheap paint job covered the car. The car "waved" hello to me and good bye too. This single photo here was one of the photos used in the ad from back then...so it's well over three years old now. The price however is considerably lower now. I think the guy was asking ~$7500 back then.

I think this was one of the last 69 Polara 2 door hardtops I've seen for sale...They just are not around anymore.

Thanks, Bob. So this indeed is the same car I looked at about 8 years before you.
All I remember is that I walked away saying it was priced about double what it was worth.
