Rerun, but thanks for posting. Nice price. I'm out though, can't bring it back across the border in that condition though.. right? It has to be a Complete car? Or am I Off?

For 2650$ and in need...
"" very rare, needs trunk pan and rear rail, interior, drivetrain, see pix electric not vacuum hideaway headlights, etc. ""|
IMO priced a rad high....

You'd likely need to research at your end. It makes no sense that border services should care about the condition of a vehicle as long as the ownership and other paperwork is in order. Make him an offer and he'll likely go for it.

I don't know... That's $2085 USD, so I don't think it's too far out of line for an asking price.

Drivetrain is gone, but the rest of the car looks fairly complete and it does have 4 complete road wheels.

I'd bet you could get that car for $1500 USD.

Getting it back here is what concerns me.. I'd REALLY!!! hate for there to be issues at the border.. I do like the car though.. she needs quite a bit of metal work I see.. but IMO she'd be worth the effort.

I don't think it would be a big deal.

Importing a Motor Vehicle | U.S. Customs and Border Protection

I skimmed through the web site quickly and one thing jumped out at me...

Cleaning the Undercarriage
To safeguard against importation of dangerous pests, the U.S. Department of Agriculture requires that the undercarriage of imported cars be free of foreign soil. Have your car steam-sprayed or cleaned thoroughly before shipment.

It might be worth pressure washing the crud off the underside and engine compartment before hitting the border.

Looks like B3 Bahama Blue Poly. Is that an HP exhaust manifold on the passenger side? This one looks like an excellent starting point. Message the seller and see ifi the 440 is still in the area, might be sitting on a garage floor close by waiting to go into that A Body four door superbird clone tribute car that they are gonna build someday.

I don't think it's that color. There's overspray on a hose in one of the underside shots.

I think the car is that A4 platinum, judging by the shot in the trunk. That 300 that you and I got parts from in Northeast PA (which is really in northwest PA) was that color.

I've had to back away from two Canadian vehicles because of issues with export. It's easy to take one into Canada but harder to bring one out. Best to go to Canada and make your deal and get purchase documentation, then deal with customs and duty's yourself. If the seller brings it across the border and sells they are subject to stiff rules and fees.
