(not mine)
1971 Chrysler Newport, original unmolested. 42K original miles. 4 door. 383 engine. Barn find from Michigan, car was originally from Florida. Since purchased, a complete tune up, dropped and cleaned gas tank and all fuel lines, cleaned and adjusted carburetor, 2 new tires, all new brakes, new master cylinder, new shocks, complete new exhaust system. body is very solid, no rust, a few minor bumps here and there otherwise body is straight. Has factor air conditioning, needs recharged. Only problem I know of...I can't shut the heat off completely. A.M. radio works as it should. Interior is very good, not mint but decent for a 1971. Accepting reasonable offers. If serious call me at 330-714-0062 Thanks for looking. Brian

What would you guys deem a "reasonable offer?"

Nice car, $1,500. Max.

The Chrysler AutoTemp II A/C system which is a nightmare over the manual A/C system

Nice car but he'll be lucky to get his money back......$1500-$2000.

concur must have planning to daily drive it or something then reality of gas prices and cost to daily drive land barges set in

Heck, I get better mileage (14.5 mpg) than my truck does.

I get that ... I'm DD a 4 x 4 Durango brother :)

I just don't get why you do all that work then sell a car like that .. no profit so there must be a reason and I'm suspecting poor planning/thinking it through was a part of it

I've done that numerous times.........not anymore. I'm not selling any of my cars ever again. That's crazy to put all that money and time into something and end up giving it away. I know sh*t happens but I would find a way to keep the car.

Exactly, unless things get really bad.
