I am looking for body side moldings for a 71 300 2 door. I have one missing on Pass fender and several that are damaged so I would be interested in any decent moldings. Please send me a PM

It is very hard to find any of those that aren't shrunk in length from years of exposure, or bent or torn or broken off. Most fell off years ago. I was thinking about trying to make some by cutting up some narrow serpentine belts that have the ribs in them from front end drives and then painting them white and black or what ever color your car's trim was in conjunction with the mandatory white or black. Haven't researched this further yet though. I have several of the 71s that need them. They add a really nice touch to the looks, but most cars now don't have them, and even the black beauty 71 300 that came up today is missing some.

Thanks for the info. I am completely missing passenger fender between door and wheel opening so anything there would be better than nothing. Several other pieces are denting and missing the insert. So I would always be interested in anything. I parted a 70 4 door a few years ago so I am thinking a may have a piece from that care someplace.
